I'm pretty darn proud of this one.
- 256 Layers of 1084 and O-1, straight laminate (although the drawing die did put in a sort of ladder pattern that looks pretty cool)
- Copper bolster and pommel nut.
- Nickel Silver Spacers
- Brazilian Rosewood Handle
Overall length of 32" with 10" handle.
I took several WIP photos of this over the last few months. I'll post them in a making sequence on my blog later this weekend and update this thread with a link to it for those who are interested.
I also plan on building a wooden sheath with copper fittings to match.
This project forced me to learn a lot of new things. While it's not perfect, I'm pretty pleased with it overall.
